day 31 - The Future. It’s the final day and I want to share one of my earliest paintings called ‘Continuum’. It talks about death and rebirth, about how we’re all made of star stuff, about the future forever connected to the past.

Today's prompt is commercial spaceflight. For this, I chose to revisit a design inspired by the Inspiration4 mission in a new way. This mission meant a lot. Watching fellow cancer survivor go to space gave me hope that one day I may too.

For day 25 of the (jet), I chose to design a patch featuring the MiG-29.

day 23 - Reusability. The original reusable space vehicle - a graphite drawing that I created of the Challenger Shuttle. Graphite and coloured pencil on A4 art paper.

Happy Accidents 🖌
For my 4th or 5th ever oil painting, I stretched the canvas myself but didn’t apply enough layers of gesso. The result was a cool watercolor effect 😆

“paintings like this are trite”

Spring 2021 I enrolled in a watercolor class to improve my self-taught skills. Students were to provide constructive criticism to their peers. lol damn what did the Milky Way ever do to you

Day 6: Galaxy 🌌

day 6: Galaxy. ‘Dragons’ Eye Galaxy’. A Galaxy just like this is out there, somewhere. One day we may even discover it but, until then, we’ll just have to do with my painted version. Acrylic on canvas.
