I mostly agree. Sonic's overall character design is hard to make scary in the way EXE artists attempt to, But there are some standouts such as No More Innocence, and that's mainly from how it drastically deviates from the design it's based on.

Finished dorohedoro a few weeks ago, highly recommend. Love the grittiness of the world and character designs. The characters are all very enjoyable, standouts tho are shin and noi. So far only one season of the anime, hope for more, but the manga is there so might have to read
