On a buildings survey of the Temple of the Winds, our Project Mgr spotted a winter roost of 30 Herald Moths
Excellent record & not just one roost but two! one in each chamber excellent

Over 4 nights in Arisaig, I trapped 221 moths/40 species. Many new moths for me, some highlights being Anomalous, Canary-shouldered Thorn, Pale Eggar and Centre-barred Sallow.

This beautiful Sussex Emerald moth was found in the moth trap, for the first time since 2010. It is a rare moth, which only breeds at one site in the UK at Dungeness
