The Jersey Devil is a legendary creature said to inhabit the forest of Pine Barrens in South Jersey. It is often described as a flying biped with hooves, but there are many variations.

🎨Teratophoneus
Ahh portfolio day again. I’m AJ, a digital paleo-sculptor - I specialise on mammalian anatomy but I’ll often give other taxa a shot too. Just a few examples of my work below:
(Dinofelis aronoki, Teratophoneus curriei, Andrewsarchus and Homotherium serum)
@Emily_Art 2014: When I didn’t knew much about proportions, anatomy, perspective, etc
2022: my Teratophoneus bust, which is one of my favorite artworks to date (also the one that has had the most reach)
Dino Fact!
Bistahieversor (Bistahi Destroyer) is a tyrannosauroid from Late Cretaceous New Mexico! Similar to Teratophoneus, it lived farther south than most North American tyrannosaurs and it also had a fairly short and deep snout! Studies- (1/2)
Art by Joschua Knüppe!
Been a bit behind on posts lately. Here is the Teratophoneus Package art I completed recently for Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaur Series. Remember the Kickstarter begins September 22nd!!!

I was away from my desk last week, but now see that the paper on gregariousness in cf. Teratophoneus has landed. This site has been known about for some time - I produced magazine cover #paleoart about it for @DiscoverMag in 2019 (full article: https://t.co/bdOMzPzCzt).

Here's the latest addition to the Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaur Series color designs- Teratophoneus curriei! Colors were inspired by the Painted Terrapin turtle.
Todays re-draw is Teratophoneus. This is the first one where I've changed a major part of the design, instead of having a throat of feathers that flatten out like a bird of paradise, it's bare skin.
Our second to last #tyrannosaur for #25DaysOfTyrannosaurs, #Tarbosaurus. Drawings by Dmitri Bogdanov and Teratophoneus, respectively. Skeletal drawings by Franoys
New #Patreon exclusive: the Teratophoneus family #paleoart I created for Discover Magazine earlier this year is now available in high res. See the rest of this image, several WIPs, and four years of other content for just $1 a month. https://t.co/iglidhgTdM
