My submission for the hosted by ! This here is Petrocoatlus, the evolved form of Petrodactyl. The great fiery wingspan of this species provides smaller winged monsters with thermals to stay aloft.

Did you know birds find pockets of warm air known as thermals to gain height without needing to flap? In this soaring behaviour, mostly seen in raptors, birds fly in circles inside the thermal, rising up with it until reaching the top to continue their journeys.
