About the dinosaur lip debate, I wasn’t aware that the Chibi theropods from Dinosaur King had lips while their bigger counterparts don’t.
Theropod Lips? I’ve been drawing them since forever, this is a major W for Tyrannosaurus and other theropods imo
1. Torvosaurus gurneyi
2. Tyrannosaurus rex
3. Australovenator wintonensis
4. Carnotaurus sastrei

New blog post! Using the behaviour of modern animals to answer the century-old question: "horned dinosaurs vs. theropods: how much did horns matter?" https://t.co/XGneHd5ecO.
Starring Triceratops #paleoart, because it's theropods vs. ceratopsids, who else could feature?
Are you ready, friends? Monday is here, so it's time for another #DinosaurOfTheWeek!
Today's DotW is... Dromaeosaurus!
Their sharp teeth and sickle claws might intimidate most folks, but these theropods are more interested in education rather than predatory life!

New blog post! Can studies of living animal colour constrain the colours of #dinosaurs? Stars big theropods, because that's all my life is now. Lots of relevance to #paleoart, of course. https://t.co/S6Ucmsl7id
- therizinosaurids had 4 toes, making them the only known theropods to not have 3 toed feet! Based on CT scans done on its skull, Erlikosaurus, and likely other therizinosaurians, would've had large olfactory bulbs and strong senses of smell as a result! (3/3)

Here ya go peeps, Velociraptor mongoliensis! Well-known for its starring role in Jurassic Park, this little fluffer is famous among theropods! There is a possible second, larger species with a more robust build, perhaps hinting at it taking larger prey.
Character sheet of a humanoid Alice, @AllosaurusJP's sona. Got some doodles to the side, featuring her in some misfit adventures/activities with the numerous theropods of the Jurassic Park franchise.

Since I’m really in the mood I’ll open two more of these!
- I’m hoping for non-theropods but I’ll draw anything 🥺🤲

#Vectiraptor was a recently described dromaeosaur that was unveiled to the world in 2021. It was a part of the Wessex formation, and would have coexisted with the smaller dromaeosaur Ornithodesmus, as well as larger theropods Neovenator and Riparovenator.
Sister Earth's giant apex predator abelisaur of Africa. Roughly the size of T. rex, but with a bite outclassing the tyrant lizard.
They, along with three other giant theropods, form a quartet of giant theropods iconic of this timeline.
Due to the blood element, this entity's attacks cause virtually incurable bleeding, being cured only by a certain type of mushroom entity, part of its reputation comes from its habit of impaling its prey like butcher birds, also being the most cursorial of all theropods.
