When Shinji Higuchi and Hideaki Anno pitched a Shin Godzilla sequel to Toho, Anno got up and wrote “SHIN GODZILLA” on the boardroom with the Toho executives. Anno wrote an “S” at the end and Higuchi drew two lines through it in the shape of a dollar sign.
