Tech Handgun Mark III - Fortune Finder
Alternate Parts Kit (For Fun Concept)
#TreasureTech
Just an update!
So I'm still kind of adjusting to moving but I've also been pretty occupied with work.
The plan right now however is to have TTLand's "The Hidden Coast" done by the end of the month, so please keep an eye out!
Thank you for waiting!

LOSPEC 500 - TREASURE TECH WEAPONS - TYPE I [STOCK]
Redrew the TTech weapons with a limited palette

Did you know that Treasure Tech's flagship sidearm, the Fortune Finder, is primarily inspired by the HK Mk 23?
The Mk 23 was designed to be a large, offense focused handgun. The FFinder took this to a whole new level with the MEGA CLASS designation...

Some color variations I made of my recent new hand drawn super concept for the Fortune Finder from Treasure Tech

Hey, everyone seems to be really happy with the animation reveal of the SURGEON for Treasure Tech Land!
Let's take another look at the weapon concept art and a nice view of the sprite work I made for it

While the rest of the HUD Weapon icons are entirely original, I had to do a sprite edit for the Jungle Knight's.
It's literally supposed to be a form of the Metal Slug rifle so what better way to convey its origin than going directly to the source?

A very early WIP of the new Pop Rock redesign for Treasure Tech.
Since its had its functionality changed significantly, the three barrel original doesn't make sense anymore, hence a new look.
Look forward to when this gets fully shaded and rendered!

Rendering the new dev log right now, I'll have the extended video up first and upload a cut down one for twitter tomorrow.
I'll drop a link when it's up. It's good to see a classic concept back in action 👀

TECH GIRLS: KUMA
(Heavy Kuma MK III Combat Shotgun)
Her redesign is done now too. Really she's almost entirely the same as the old design but just adapted to the new art style, and with a better pose. Kuma is definitely a popular fan favorite of the TT arsenal!

Kuma (Heavy Kuma MKIII Combat Shotgun)
WIP PART 1
It's the other TECH GIRL getting her redesign finally. It's Kuma!
Also Fortuna is here for scale.
The combination of Fortuna being short and Kuma being quite tall makes the size disparity extra funny to me

TECH GIRLS: FORTUNA
(Fortune Finder Mega Class Magnum)
Well, I finally finished her redesign! I think she looks millions of times better than her old design. I need to redesign Kuma as well but that will be for February.

I've been pretty satisfied with Treasure Tech's stock arsenal, but when the mail rolled in with everyone basically saying
"I like the alt fire, but I never used the primary for the Pop Rock"
I slowly but surely realized it was time for a change.
So here it is!
#TreasureTech
Like most of the TTech arsenal, they had previous versions that were replaced entirely, like the Wise Banker being replaced by the Fortune Finder. However, just like the Wise Banker, they can return to see the light of day again...
Meet the "Last Warrior"!

Armin Chesterfield
Protagonist of TREASURE TECH
Battered, but a spirit as strong as diamonds. Well, he'll be getting diamonds one way or another.
A fun drawing exercise! Little less on the cartoony side but definitely not REALISTIC Armin.

Only the centered frame right now, but I still want to show what I have so far.
The Surgeon! I hope it looks familiar to you.
I'm very happy with this sprite! The industrial nature of the weapon and getting to "TTech-ify" it made this very fun to sprite.

Treasure Tech Land's homage to METAL SLUG, the "JUNGLE KNIGHT" MG and Launcher combo weapon, has it's base frames done! I just have to do the animation now for both firing modes.
What color set up do you like the best?

I always like cartoony things that have detailed concept art to show how certain things might work, like Metal Slug for example!
Ever wonder how Armin eats with his helmet on in Treasure Tech? Well here is a concept of how his helmet opens up and closes.
