Il 1973 esce l'album di Mike Oldfield, 19enne. E' il primo disco pubblicato dalla neonata e andrà subito in vetta alle cassifiche. Sarà poi utilizzato nell'Esorcista, uscito lo stesso anno, diventando presto un classico del progressive rock.
