Astrid Arkham/original character - A little on the pipe dream side but since Jason came completely out of nowhere, instead of just retreading UTRH but worse, introduce a genuinely new character and craft a story that fits ths series with their own motivations and backgrounds

BTAC's like the badly potrayed version of Under the Red Hood. I cried my ass off for heart-broken Jason thinking Bruce never love him in UTRH but in BTAC like they never have those strong feeling for each other, I couldn't feel any love but only overdramatic attitude.

What a joke! They just recut Under the Red Hood with Bruce offering voice over. lt's like a character analysis of UTRH characters and events summarized by Bruce. Would've been cool as an extra in Under the Red Hood but its own release? No thx!

Batman loves him too much to know how to kill him' thing, which is what the story was ACTUALLY about. I mean, Judd Winick even spelt this out a few issues before UTRH by having Bruce hallucinate Jason saying that he could never stop him because he "loves him too much".
@kierayvette_ It's low-key one of my favourite moments of Bruce and Jason angst; AND it was written by Judd Winick, so it functions as a stealth prequel to UTRH.

Also the scene of Bruce talking to the hallucination of Jason in this issue makes me think about how much of a missed opportunity Jason was in the old post-crisis continuity. Like UTRH introduced this great new status quo with Jason as this unique antagonist to Bruce.
