Well... it's time... to draw every monster before the 20th anniversary of #MonsterHunter next year (more info in replies!)✨
001 Velociprey | 002 Velocidrome
Playing Monhun stories 2 made me wanna redesign a lot of monsters with different specific realistic design conventions. So have a Velocidrome and Velociprey. A common monster for new hunters to be assigned to deal with when they become a nuisance (which they do regularly)
#Velocidrome and #Velociprey made in #blockbench with the help of @the_monia8148

I think part of what kills my hype for Exoprimal is that we're getting thoroughly superior raptor fodder enemies in the form of Sunbreak's Velociprey, like no contest.
サンブレイクでcbの好きな
ダイミョウザザミとゴアマガラとランポスが参戦したの、めっちゃ嬉しいですね✨🎉🌸
どの子も沢山戦ったので思い出深いです✨

They can't keep getting away with this

Well... seeing that the Velocidrome model in MH Frontier shares the same mesh as Velociprey, and only the crest changes.... I think a quick, easy edit is possible for the Sunbreak version.
SO YEAH, VELOCIDROME HD!!!1!1!
I would love a full render of the new Velociprey, the new look really fits into an idea I have for Six Kings.

Ioprey are a "subspecies" of Velociprey that are known to inhabit volcanic regions and swamps. They are quite similar to Velociprey in a lot of ways, but there are a few differences between the two species.
Like Velociprey, Genprey materials have a wide range of uses. Genprey fangs are often used for making traps, coating arrows, and more. Genprey venom is strong enough to paralyze a flying wyvern.
Genprey are a "subspecies" of Velociprey that can primarily be found living in desert regions. Genprey are quite similar to Velociprey in a lot of ways, but there are a few differences between the two species.
Their teeth are used for making bullets, while their skin is useful for making leather. Humans, especially hunters, often need to use Velociprey materials in their daily lives.
There are also a few "subspecies" of Velociprey that can be found living in specific regions, and Velociprey packs often inhabit the same environments as these "subspecies." In the Great Forest, Velociprey and all of its "subspecies" can be found living in that region.
Velociprey are raptor-like bird wyverns that can be found living in various parts of the Old World due to their high adaptability. While this species primarily inhabits forests and jungles, they've also been seen living in damp swamps, hot deserts, and cold tundras.
