She still keep the 4 basic colors of Ho-oh (orange, yellow, green, white). Long sleeves are supposed to resemble the shape of kimono's sleeves and the phoenix's wings. Idk how to describe but it's like a traditional girl breaking the mold, but still remember about her roots.

Fire Fairy (yeah that's her og name) had a bird-like appearance with her ahoge and bird wings shaped.... wings. I wonder if the OG author wanted something firebird-like

Jiang Meiren with broken wings.... I dressed him in (kinda) dunhuang style because i had no idea how to draw hanfu with wings without completely stripping him 😂
