#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 16 — I did a ton of drawing in 2019! (And yet somehow barely made a dent in my to-do list… still chipping away, bit by bit.) 2020 looks like it’s on track to be just as, if not more productive. Definitely more Space Badger on the way :)
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 14 — I got to cat-sit my favorite kitty on several occasions! Last time, he even leapt out of one of his folk’s arms and into mine… something he’s never done before. High praise indeed (even if his adorable little claws were digging into my shoulder 😊).
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 13 — Made it to a couple of concerts! Saw We Banjo 3 for a second time (already got my tickets for a third!) and Gordon Lightfoot for a first… it was incredible to get to see such a legend perform.
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 11 — it only took me 20 years, but I finally saw the Broadway version of The Lion King. It was pure magic and absolutely worth the wait.
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 9 — In July I saw fireflies for the first time ever, swiftly followed by the second time ever (two different species). They’re absolutely magical ✨
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 8 — Often times it was the small things—like a bonfire with friends and family—that made the year special.
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 7 — My sister and I traveled to Pasadena to attend @LightBoxExpo! Guess who managed to get VERY dehydrated on day one? (It was me. Mary was smart and carried a water bottle with her while I thought I could get by with the venue water coolers. NOPE.)
#AYearInSpaceBadgers no. 2 — Got to see @thepiff perform, which was amazing and hilarious and a show I would absolutely love to see again :D
So, presenting: #AYearInSpaceBadgers. I'll post these as I finish them over the next few days (because when have I ever finished a personal project by a deadline?), and to start: (I played a LOT of PokémonGo this year. Again.)
Earth is what we all have in common.
Spending a #yearinspace gave me a unique perspective on our planet. Excited to share the natural and sometimes otherworldly beauty of our #InfiniteWonder in my new photo book on sale Oct 30! https://t.co/6PYsOFzQUS
Took this photo during my #YearInSpace. Still think it's pretty cool.
