dk jr was still a toddler by the time of yoshi’s island ds (making him slightly older than mario, much like bowser.) he was raised by his parents, cranky kong and wrinkly kong, in the jungle kingdom.

and yes i will admit this part is fucking confusing

miyamoto confirmed that mario was aged around 24 or 25, and in yoshi’s island ds, mario and the current dk are the basically same age.

but cranky and dk jr don’t have canonical ages, so i just assume that cranky is in his late 60s while dk jr is in his mid 40s.

so i think cranky would probably in his 70s (retirement age)

and donkey kong jr is like…. in his early 50s bc his son (the current donkey kong) is around the same age as mario as shown to us in yoshi’s island ds

Good LORD, I nearly had a heart attack, was adding lavender highlights to Hiyoshi’s hair, and the marker is defective, its so runny it may as well be a paintbrush, even the slightest dabs BLEED like hell! Thankfully I saved it, but JEEZ! Couple days work almost ruined. 😭
