Pondered an Aarakokra wildfire druid whos wings got too burnt and so he can no longer fly!
I’ve got a new dnd game coming up its loosely based on strixhaven but more homebrew. I wanted to play an owlin but was disappointed they just seemed like an Aarakokra revamp. @Deebsio revamped it for me! Everyone meet Cricket! My wild magic sorcerer.
From the left:
Phidias (he/him), #aarakokra bard
Axa (she/her), #dwarf barbarian
Vecto (he/they), air #genasi monk
They are a party of npc's from the #DnD campaign I'm running, they're nosy and noisy and easy to love.
What assumtion would you make about them?
Our latest review is for Birds of Paradise, a supplement containing 12 new subraces for Aarakokra and Kenku, as well a ton of other interesting stuff for each of them such as NPCs and story hooks.

Here’s the second batch of icons from the group. I am definitely not used to drawing aarakokra, or birds in general, but it was fun to step out of my comfort zone.

On a "personal design-taste note" I don't like that D&D harpies have arms. Too similar to aarakokra, just different heads.
It's like sea elves & tritons. They're just underwater dudes! Do we really need 2 kinds? They're barely interesting enough to be one thing!
drawing i did for @gaman_trrrrg
they're a storm soul sorcerer aarakokra based on pikachu!
