This is...

EMOTION!!!

People watching my Dorvack threads may have noticed that show is going to raise a sunken continent too and has Moai heads. It started about a year after Acrobunch finished too lol

Just for good measure, King Deros grows to giant size before boarding this ship. Awhile back he fought the Acrobunch using astral projection so clearly he is a powerful being.

The Acrobunch is losing the fight when suddenly...

This guy is making sure the Acrobunch is drawn to be about 15 meters tall.

Acrobunch is not impressed.

The Acrobunch rescues Hiro and flees just as Bluzom arrives.

You know, much like how Braiger tried to be educational in a scientific way, Acrobunch does that for ancient myths and legends. As a writer, Yuu Yamamoto seemed like an extremely well read individual who enjoyed putting his own knowledge into the shows he helped create.

This emotional goodbye feels a little off with the Acrobunch's judgmental gaze.

Wait what?

Why does the Acrobunch need anchors?

Acrobunch reminds me of the thankless job of designing the cannon fodder vehicles in any given series.

I feel like it's my duty to document these quaint little tanks lol

At least the Goblin stuff got model kits.

Hey Henry!

And like many sci-fi anime, Acrobunch has a plain vanilla Chikyu Renpou

Imagine being on the brink of death when you're visited by the flying robot angel that is the Acrobunch.

I like how even Acrobunch has a generic "Earth Federation" for their government and military.

I'm about 2/3rds done with the show and it's amazing how much just the Acrobunch's head varies from scene to scene. It either looks cool or it doesn't lol

This episode of Acrobunch wastes no time blowing up ancient ruins and mobs of Goblin soldiers!

I hope I'm getting this right, but it appears the dynamic style of episode 11 of Acrobunch is all thanks to Kazuhiro Ochi. He is credited with storyboard, directing, and animation directing. He also worked on the opening for the show.
