I've read 4 vols of the LN and while I wouldn't say this was a notably bad adaptation, it really just highlighted the issues I have with this series; namely how bland the romantic chemistry between the main 2 is and how shit of a character Amane is.

@AniTrendz Ignore the battle shounen fans and non yuri fans going mad in the replies but if you are not watching Magical Revolution yet I highly suggest you do. It has amazing pacing for an LN adaptation, really well written characters, plot and beautiful animation. It will only get better.
