The Caretakers were meant to be rather disapproving of Rey’s sudden presence on Ahch-To. Here I was trying to channel some Downton Dame Maggie Smith disdain and suspicion into the expression.

The way these concept arts, of Rey and Ben reflecting each other on that Ahch-to style mirror, and of Dark Rey having no reflection of Ben (+ the similar vibes of the water concepts), feel fitting for post-TROS 👁️👁️ Maybe re-use the concepts that way, DLF? (Also, the AU ideas...)

On further reflection, I don't know that the minimal ruins are what really bugged me. Ahch-To is great, and I even like the concept art of Tython. I just don't personally find the actual filming location to be particularly pretty... :P
