Happy #PterosaurPtuesday! This is Aerotitan! An #Azhdarchid pterosaur from #Cretaceous #Argentina named in 2012 based on the tip of the lower jaws. As such, not much is known about it, but may have been similar to other Azhdarchids, like Alanqa.

About to start editing this scene for the novel. A pair of oversized #Alanqa terrorize our intrepid protagonists beneath looming araucaria. Incredible artwork for RIFT by @jaros428 & done in consultation with @MarkWitton. #azhdarchid #RIFT #paleoart #scifihorror #authorsoftwitter

Alanqa from the Late Cretaceous had a 6 metre wingspan.

Alanqa is one of only two azhdarchid pterosaurs from North Africa. https://t.co/7w3FzElZkw
