In folklore & legend crows & ravens are often regarded as harbingers of doom, but they can also be the means of divination & prophecy bearing messages from the gods. The Celtic goddess Morrigan often appears in the form of a crow or raven.

Trixie Galbreth is a girl from a dairy farm who joins the Paladin quorum of the Order of Evanna when her village is attacked by her kind, the Corvai. Her goal is to absolve her family of the blame they received in the wake of the attack.

Some additional concept art for the lead character in a manga I’m currently working on, Trixie Galbreth! And your eyes didn’t deceive before and they don’t deceive now...hers are red. Just a girl to some, misfortune incarnate to others.
