ahhhhh I really like the way this arc is being structured, I mentioned how I liked the setting earlier and it was utilized rlly well this episode. Sound design was perfect in capturing how eerie everything is

Amazing episode portraying the different ideologies of the Kinderheim Alumni. It feels like both of them are trying to save children in different ways; Grimmer through kindness and Johan through some manner of hatred/vengeance, akin to overthrowing the corrupt adults?

this episode was kino too, the depiction of tenma's struggles through him not being able to eat as well as exercising til he basically can't move was cool. the forest scene at the end in particular was really good

holy fuck. my first episode in more than a month and it was so fucking crazy I can’t even put this shit into words. Goosebumps the entire episode. A flex of plot, character complexity & atmosphere and the MC didn’t appear once. so fucking good
