Now that I rethinking my opinion about G-rank is unnecessary, I've come to change my mind
The rank system as a whole is unnecessary. How is there a Jaggi or an Altaroth so strong and powerful that only hunters who have slain Shagaru Magala can have the right to confront them?!?!
Today's monster is Altaroth, introduced in Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii.
Like the adults, young Barroth are insectivores and will feed on insects found around their nest. When they reach a certain, they'll leave their parents' bog and will begin to prey on neopteron like Altaroth as well.
Barroth are insectivores, meaning they prey upon insects. In the Wildspire Waste and Wildspire Region of the Guiding Lands, Barroth can be seen digging into ant mounds to feed on Carrier Ants. In the Old World, Barroth have been seen eating Altaroth.
