Almost forgot to say, but the worldbuilding of AM2R is also AMAZING. The Metroids as a species get so much development here too, and Im genuinely SOOOO invested into them now

I recently completed AM2R for the first time!

Completely blind 100% on Hard mode.
Picking hard mode was a mistake when it came to my first time playing certain bosses - It added a lot of time onto my playthrough

finally, finished my first randomizer of a metroid game! AM2R's been my favorite metroid game (despite being unofficial), so the moment i found out that this game had a built in randomizer i figured i had to do it at some point.

What a great year for AM2R.

- Our Discord server skyrocketed
- The AM2RLauncher was rewritten
- 1.5.5 was released
- 2.0 made a TON of progress
- Doc released a follow-up game about Skippy
- Miles made the INCREDIBLE Multitroid mod with coop and PvP mode

fiddled around with the AM2R suit editor for a bit and made Samus blue

Just finished my first playthrough of AM2R, decided to play on Hard and 100% it

This is actually the first time I've 100%'d a Metroid game before, I've gotten close in the past but never actually done it

I napped a bit too hard, but we will be starting AM2R in 10 minutes!

Also, today we are continuing Metroid! AM2R! We will start today at 6PM EDT (about two hours). See you there, cadets!

Just finished AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) and while I was skeptical at first, this turned out to be one of the most incredible Metroid games I've ever played. I can't even begin to describe how much love and attention to detail this game has.

@maximilian_ Really enjoyed your playthrough of Super. Looking forward to you playing the GBA games.

If you want a really good version of Metroid 2 that plays like a cleaner version of Super, AM2R is a great choice! (I like it more than Samus Returns.)
