These tiny animals (hyperid amphipods) live thier whole lives on jellies. From birth to death—hiding in jelly tentacles—even eating the jelly. Jellyfish are real live gingerbread houses to these little guys. & when the jelly is done? On to the next one!

The skeleton shrimp is technically an amphipod (true shrimp are decapods), but it's a crustacean with the word "shrimp" in its name so it's a part of Shrimp Week.
