You wake up and see this little cutie sitting beside you. He smiles and waves before, in the blink of an eye, runs up to you and nuzzles your cheek, wishing you a good day, then skitters out of the room, giggling to himself.
Little Anansi got a face lift!
I never got around to posting these ( bc I only got to sew the skirt in time for E3 and health was difficult before E4 ) but these are the garments I designed for my larp oc Annabeth Anansi 💞I can’t wait til I finish sewing the full thing 🥰💕

Anansi RPG character concept 🕷⚔️
For #blacktober I wanted to bring an idea I had to life, combining African mythology with #RPG /JRPG aesthetics.
This first character is based off of the West African spider god, Anansi. His clothes are inspired by Akan funeral clothing.
@MythologyMonday @AimeeMaroux Anansi Stories became the Old Brer Rabbit Stories. #MythologyMonday
Anansi's Journal of Common Places has over 60 beautifully detailed locations. The traveling merchant wagon was written by @KiennaS. Like many of our locations, there's an optional NPC tie in. Check out some early concepts one of our illustrators is working on!
‘Hello, Lou Turtle,’ said Anansi. ‘How are you this bright and beautiful morning?’ ☀️
Illustration from @IngridPersaud’s tale in #TheFaberBookOfBedtimeStories, launching Oct 6th! ✍️ @FaberChildrens
Anansi is an Akan West African folktale, the Akan God of Stories,Wisdom, Knowledge, and possibly creation. He often takes the shape of a spider. Anansi stories spread to West Indies, Suriname, SierraLeone and the Netherlands Antilles; also Curaçao, Aruba, and Bonaire.
