In similar events to Sonic Prime, an alien arrives on Mobius at the same time as Sonic touches the paradox prism. This causes them to merge bodies.
@machine654 (Gonna be more than one reply) Anaximander- as Sonic breaks the paradox prism, Anax coincidentally visits Mobius at the same time and are both pulled into the shatterverse. They are put into one body as Anax takes control and slowly goes insane- traveling through many universes.
