I though I'd share this study I'm really proud of. I looove @/SabbasApterus's way of colouring and his knowledge of anatomy. I wanted to redraw my favourite piece of his, at least partly. It way really fun and I recommend doing it.

Whale Day Friday celebrated with an extremely special species, the Beluga (Delphinapterus leucas)!

Despite not regularly occurring in Californian waters they're a feature of my research due to lots of media exposure and they're common-ish in aquaria!

A goliath grouper(Epinephelus itajara) creeping up on a Fl stone crab(Menippe mercenaria) while a cigar minnow(Decapterus mecarellus) lurks.
Crabs make up the majority of ggs diet & cigar minnows hang around them for scraps & to eat their eggs when they spawn.
