TIL cetaceans also have multi-chambered stomachs just like ruminants and other artyodactyls do, which now sounds logical sisnce they *are* artiodactyls and sister to ruminants. But like wtf. What do they use them for? Is it because they don't chew?

Entelodon

A large omnivorous pig like artiodactyl that grew up to 2 meters in lenght, its actually more closely related i hippos and whales than to pigs

ALT: the skeleton of this animal looks quite spiky, its depictions tend to be shrinkwrapped in order to show its iconic skull

The Daeodon, commonly called the "hell pig," was a seven-foot tall omnivorous artiodactyl. Research suggests that it may have frightened off smaller predators to steal their kills. A request from , who I assume feels a sort of kinship with the disgusting beast.
