@Marcy_Bun627 hell if we're bein fr, eggman and most of sonic's world were inspired off of ghibli films...why not base the humans off of them? I feel the ghibli style has a subtle mix of mid to late 20th century western animation artstyles in it

The real culprit though is the vast differences in artstyles, from cel-shaded Disgaea/TWEWY to suddenly full rendered armour
There are of course artists who can change up their style, and those are unicorns blessed with the divine finger of God, but this is not one such case
