In just over two weeks I'm going on vacation. For grad students this often means "PhD but make it exotic". I've just started my PhD and I'm already exhausted. So this time I'm going on vacation for real to rest and recharge and remember why I love this.

I walked home late from campus in the snow today. I listened to Big Thief (thanks ) and let my thoughts wander. I spend a lot of time every single day thinking about a person that probably no longer thinks of me.
