諸星大二郎の『私家版鳥類図譜』を読んでいたら、中に「鳥探偵スリーパー」という滅法おもしろい短編を見つけた。主人公のスリーパーの紹介図を見ると、昔の「水のみ鳥」をモデルにしていると書いてある??? 「水のみ鳥」、さすがにオーデュボンの本にも載っていない。
