Obviously no #auktober today. I think I'm auked out. I'm going to try to do one more before the end of the month. I did work on something else, and here's some tuck interior art (it won't get used though - we went in a different direction.)
#Auktober today - a cute little witchy puffin! You might not think a puffin would make a good witch, but this one does! I threw this up on Redbubble - still experimenting with the site.

No #auktober today - I had to focus on painting parrots the last couple of days. Here's some cockatiels instead. It's the stretch goal sticker for my playing cards!

#Auktober today - another puffin because I can. Another pun because I CAN. No one can stop me! Also experimented with putting this on some stuff on Redbubble. Kind of want the mug.

#Auktober today is the greatest of Auks! Literally, the Great Auk. (sadly extinct). And another pun. What is wrong with me.
#Auktober today - did you know puffins look like angry little fat birbs from the front?
#Auktober today is the Atlantic Puffin! Finally finished all the auklets.
#Auktober today - Cassin's Auklet. He packed his angry eyebrows.
Last day of #Auktober!! I hope everyone has a spooky good #Halloween 🎃
The conclusion to #Auktober with perhaps the greatest auk, the extinct Great Auk. Absent from the world since 1844, they were large, flightless, and hunted to oblivion for their fat and feathers.
See that bill? Perfect for scooping up & eating... jellyfish & ctenophores?! Yep - they're predators of the "jelly web"! #Auktober (close up shot by M. Johns/USFWS CC-BY-NC 4.0)
I was inspired by @TheLabAndField’s great ongoing #Auktober thread.
Now go get some info on these amazing and cute #birds all month long!
