Ada Lovelace, by Margaret Sarah Carpenter, 1836
She was an English mathematician and writer, chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage's proposed mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. And the daughter of Lord Byron.
Friday 29th July - An 1836 portrait of Ada Lovelace by Margaret Sarah Carpenter. Following her father's death Ada was encouraged by her mother to study mathematics and logic, going on to work with Charles Babbage on his Analytical Engine and publishing the very first algorithm.
@shadow_shonen @VTuberTweeter I have unconventional tastes, personally I think Charles Babbage is a delightful character. One of my favorites.

picked up babbage from estrise so he can have a look at this enormous gear in the HQ, but he needs some time to work on it so i'll go fishing for now—
As a 'woman in tech' (in my day job), #adalovelace is a total heroine. As a countess and daughter of Lord Byron, she had the unusual freedom to be a computer pioneer, work with Babbage on his Difference and Analytical Engines, and write "note G", the first computer algorithm.
🔥🔥🔥
also got an extra scene with babbage
now time to open the sluice gate and destroy this stupid fortress

You know, the fun part about FGO is finding out Charles Babbage is a Steam Robot. Illustrated by the same guy who illustrated Getter Robo Devolution. Voiced by- TROMBE!!!!
