Behind the Painting - 'Three Rock Forms.' 1951
#WilhelminaBarnsGraham extended her exploration of #3d form, initiated by her work with glaciers, to Cornish rocks. Three standing stones are simplified with sharp angles and faces, the scraped surfaces suggesting reflected light.
