@TF_Moments I used to assume this was because of Sentinel's color scheme from G1 comics design, and other comic designs.
Today, though, I'm inclined to think this was a coincidence. Bayformers was never faithful to designs that weren't Optimus or Bumblebee.
While I stand by that these are still legitimately good movies that were better than they had any right to be, it's disappointing that the franchises they spawned turned out terrible and just became wasted potential.

@DavidToons_ idk about you but I was pretty exited about Operation Skyfire (a Transformers spin-off set on ww2) unfortunately TLK was trash and all future plans related to the bayformers universe was discarded and Paramount decided to start over with the Bumblebee movie
