The idea of "paradox free" time travel might sound ingenious, but it's actually kind of lazy with how extensively it's used in It makes for too many instances where the audience has to suspend their disbelief. Not a fact, just an opinion.

Time traveling was avoided in the original series but the staff obviously went all out in and admit that it was tough to write because the story got so complicated. I would say *too* complicated. The movie is lacking some elegance because of all the time travel.
