@QuestForMataNui Brrr. Kohrak Kal is keeping things chilly in his #BionicleArtwork. You can just feel the cold in this one, especially in image 4.
@QuestForMataNui Kopaka Nuva's #BionicleArtwork design features a painted snow cliff which looks beautiful on its own (Images 3 and 4). Enjoy!
@QuestForMataNui Kohrak's #BionicleArtwork also uses Tahnok in the background. Image 4 shows how the tool just goes over it to make it seem like the background Bohrok are other Kohrak.
@QuestForMataNui Nuvhok's #BionicleArtwork also uses Tahnok in the background, but is the only one with a non-blurred background. Image 3 showcases it in its full glory.
@QuestForMataNui Tough to narrow this down to just 4 images! This #BionicleArtwork depicts the aftermath of the Toa defeating the Bahrag queens with their elemental powers. They were sent spiraling down to a pool of Protodermis. Img 4 shows an extra fire layer, hidden in final.
@QuestForMataNui Kopaka examining a Kohrak's Krana Xa, with a golden Akaku Kanohi. Like other #BionicleArtwork files, the gold mask is added over the original. Img 3 is the furthest-back visible image, whereas img 4 is the original render, hidden behind the background layer.
@QuestForMataNui Pohatu's #BionicleArtwork is very similar to Onua's when dissected. Two slightly different backgrounds also, image 4 is normally completely hidden.
@QuestForMataNui The perspective of Onua's #BionicleArtwork completely changes when you remove the foreground! Image four shows a normally hidden layer with slightly less stalagmites and stalagmites in the background.
@QuestForMataNui In this #BionicleArtwork scene, Tahu is standing next to his Toa Canister. Interestingly, the original image has Tahu's arms reversed (image 2), and they've masked out the old one and replaced them with entirely separate arms to fix it in the final.
This Toa Canister #BionicleArtwork piece helps show the detail that went into these designs post-3D render. Pretty consistently in these files, added to the rendered 3D scene is fog, lighting, shadows and additional elements added on top to accentuate features or add flair.
