100 years ago today, the beat the 10-5 in the 8th and final game of the 1919 World Series. Sox starter Lefty Williams gave up 4 ER in 0.1 IP before being replaced by Bill James. Buck Weaver had 2 hits, and Shoeless Joe Jackson hit the series’ only HR.
