I find it absolutely insane that just about 8 years ago, Neill Blomkamp was announced to direct a Alien film that continued on from Aliens. Everyone loved it, Sigourney loved it, Biehn was all in, Cameron praised it. But Fox sided with Ridley Scott.

First cinema outing of 2022, went to see Neill Blomkamp's DEMONIC.
Good performance by Carly Pope (before going in and based on stills I saw, I was convinced see she was Noomi Rapace), but the plot line fell short.
Needed more of the Vatican using tech to fight demons in it.

damn man, the more I hear or watch videos about 'Niell Blomkamp's Alien 5' - it boils your blood as to why it got cancelled. Jealousy from Ridley?, his attempts to bring back Aliens failed.

Niels script or idea is a straight follow up from Aliens, erasing 3 & 4.
