Finished the Night Watch Trilogy.
A perfect example of what Kadono is capable of when he's at his peak. It holds strongly even after almost 20 years of its release.
And in terms of scale, it's definitely grander than even Boogiepop, which is saying a lot.
Boogiepop as a series peaked when Kadono decided to add a loli who also happens to be the second strongest in the series.
The uooohs are strong with v15.

While I can't quite say I'm an absolute fan yet, after Sonny Boy I simply have to pay attention to Shingo Natsume, because at his worst, he is at least interesting.
