Boudicca (c.20s-60 or 61)
Was a queen of the Iceni tribe of Celtic Britons, who led an uprising against forces of the Roman Empire in AD 60 or 61 and managed to burn London down. According to Roman sources, after the uprising failed, she poisoned herself to avoid being captured
@Cassini_jon You should appreciate the Roman invasion.
Before, the Britons lived in huts and washed in the river.
After that, they began to live in the houses and wash themselves in the baths.
I don't understand why Boudikka got so angry 🤔🤔🤔

The War Office felt Ardizzone’s intimate and understated style would help Britons better understand the War and what life in the forces was actually like. After France, Ardizzone was posted to Cairo and then Italy, covering the day to day life of British troops.
Ahhh, the Former King of the Britons, now my mindless bimbo cowgirl slave... perfect

The Anglo Saxon Chronicle notes in AD 552 *Cynric fought against the Britons at Searobyrig [Old Sarum] and put the Britons to flight*
As Cynric is a British name this may be a hazy remembrance of post Roman civil conflict

@flying_rodent Says the British person. Britons, Celts, and Picts used to be covered in tattoos. Ancient Roman soldiers admired the tattoos of the Brits that they started getting them as well. Pretty much every culture practices tattooing in some capacity.
I think it wouldve been hilarious if Aphrodite was a Saberface
For Context, she is the mother of Aeneas, who is the grandfather of Brutus of Troy, the "first king" of the Britons
King Arthur is descended from Brutus
Are you understanding where I'm getting at
3-is from your childhood
Uh, since no other criteria whatsoever is given, I guess I proudly present you mf Teefax from Asterix and the Britons, I used to watch the cartoon movie like, 5 times a week back then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Imagining the Romans turning up and finding the Britons charging about in chariots.
It totally blew their minds. It was like stepping back in time, like finding themselves in the Trojan War.
They loved it.
When Brexit first at Johnson's command
Arose from out the sewage main
This was the charter of the land
And Tory MPs sang this strain:
"Stool Britannia, Britainnia poos the waves
Britons never ever will be clean and safe!"
