I find it interesting that William III is almost always depicted on a White Horse, landing at Brixham, at the Boyne in an attempt to associate him with St George and the saviour of England and the Anglican faith.

Red Cage Fungus Clathrus ruber Berry Head Brixham Devon - this relative of the stinkhorns is an introduction from Australia established in southern England. It emerges from an 'egg' and has brown gunk - 'gleba' containing spores that attracts flies which then disperse the spores.
