The Bubsette sketch was so clean that it's almost hard to tell the difference between the lineart and the sketch at first (and it's part of why I often don't line), but consistency is important. I used the vector tool to get some of the harder curves perfect, like her toad head.

like, there are always things in a piece i'm proud of or feel like i could have done better... ex im very proud of this but i feel like the bottom of bubsette's coat could be better, auth's legs are a little awkward, fingers might be a bit too short, eyes too close together

Speaking of shadows, there's no background. I definitely don't have the energy to add one. But auth and Bubsette feel a bit "floating in a void"...

...So, a quick stylized shadow underneath their bodies. A quick and dirty trick to make them feel more "present", physically.
