INTERNES CAN’T TAKE MONEY (1937): The first Dr. Kildare movie is a wild tale of gangsters, barroom surgery, and a desperate mother. Stanwyck rips your heart out (as usual). Exactly the kind of old movie I love: 78 minutes and hardly a dull moment.
