I turned around and saw a huge gecko in front of me, twice my size. The gecko's body shimmered.

Idea for a minecraft ancient mob, the schnoz can be found by finding it’s egg within the clay of lush caves, in which it will dig up ancient tree saplings from time to time, and eat those nasty spiders up. I wonder what other bygone species reside?

Thinking about colonizing Antarctica, it occurs to me: why bother with igloos, caves, skis, sleds, or buildings on stilts when you could just float above it all, landing wherever whenever? Nuclear cruise zeppelins might be the ideal homesteads.

The remains of Platygonus are often found in caves, sometimes because they were dragged there by predators, but apparently also because they sought shelter from the elements there. Sometimes dire wolves went into those caves to hunt or scavenge Platygonus. Imagine the sounds!!
