I’m gonna be honest, when it comes to Magic Knight Rayearth, I prefer the anime over the manga. I like how the anime expanded the world of Cephiro, fleshed out the main trio more and gave the villains more time to shine. I also like the changes the anime made to the second arc.

Emeraude had fallen in love with Zagato and could not believe that he is no longer with her. Also, she broke the rule of the Pillar
Therefore, the girls must fulfill Emeraude's last wish that will allow them not only to save Cephiro, but also to return to Tokyo.

Hikaru is the leader of the three Magic Knights. Did you know that she and her comrades were only 14 when they were transported to Cephiro? Also, she was so skilled with the sword because of her kendo training on Earth.
