@Titanlizard_Art @GregBroadmore They definitely proved that ceratopsians can be scary, and we're keeping that ethos alive.
Genuine question: Were ceratopsians the only horned dinosaur to actually use their horns in some offensive capacity (in some species, Kosmoceratops probably wasn't tbh)? Or is there any evidence that other dinosaurs with horns could use them as weapons?
The #StMaryRiverFormation of Southern #Alberta & North #Montana dates back to ~72-67mya. Populated by ginkgos, conifers, grasses, & ferns, this swampy environment sat on the Western Interior Seaway and was home to many ceratopsians like #Regaliceratops.

I'm sad that we could have gotten elephants (Palaeoloxodon) that are bigger then some Jurassic Period Sauropods and cretaceous Hadrosaurs/Ceratopsians
Palaeoloxodon antiquus (left) could have weighed up to 15 tons and went extinct 30,000 years ago
Paradox Entei and Paradox Raikou!! Based on sauropods (Entei) and ceratopsians and ankylosaurs (Raikou). #paradoxpokemon
Ceratopsian Horn thread a.k.a "How to use your head", Part 1
Doing another speculative biology run, and on one of my favorites no less. Ceratopsians are easily one of the "Big Six" archetypal dinosaurs which show up in almost all ensemble media, and there's little shock why.
The best part of Monday is here once again! Yep, time for another #DinosaurOfTheWeek!
And today's DotW is... Agujaceratops!
Just look at those impressive brow horns - these strong, long-frilled ceratopsians are an invaluable help in storehouses, libraries or guard outposts!
@Tessasaurus_rex I think it’s widely known at this point lots of large ceratopsians had very crocodilian-like scales.
Ceratopsians but I took away their frills, their horns, and their bosses.
Red - Triceratops
Green - Nasutoceratops
Blue - Pachyrhinosaurus
@ttorroo I don't have a lot of finished work but here is some in different stages
ceratopsians and hadrosaurs are my favourite to do
Occurrences of pathology in Arctic ceratopsian Pachyrhinosaurus perotorum are similar to those of lower latitude ceratopsians suggesting adaptation to ancient extreme environment, not higher occurrence of pathologies. By @Paleo_Fiorillo & @Paleo_Tykoski

A question to all paleo artists, does the bison like body of the ceratopsian designs from Peter Jackson's King Kong bother you?
The 4 ceratopsians are:
Ferrucutus, Chalyceratops
Bifurcatops, Sylvaceratops
We’ve been getting smaller ceratopsians so this Diabloceratops was a welcomed addition. It’s definitely giving a Sinoceratops body type which you know I love. My shelf is so full at this point, I have no idea where it’s going. #mattel #diabloceratops #dinotracker #jurassicworld
An amazing diorama illustrating an environment from the #DinosaurPark Formation in Canada. It features the iconic ceratopsians #Styracosaurus and #Unescoceratops.

@AndresR77498290 @feetlover4567 @Mullerchase14 Ceratopsians are often reconstructed with stubby, rhino-like toes. However, they more than likely had longer fingers that supported their heavy bodies on the palms of their wrists. #feet
Regaliceratops sketch, forgive me ceratopsian people i havent drawn one of the bigger ceratopsians in ages 🙏🙏🙏
@GamersNexus Hadrosaurs left, Ceratopsians (of which Triceratops is part of) right.
@meghannyd_ I AM FOAMING AT THE MOUTH FOR TRANS TRICERATOPS YESSS MY BEAUTIFUL CERATOPSIANS :DDDD yeah it’s a diabloceratops shh
