The incredible post-human landscape of former mines, here an old slate mine in the Ceredigion region of Wales. Stuffed full of abandoned cars, it’s been dubbed the Cavern of Lost Souls, rusting metal in the hollowed out innards of the mountains.

The magnificent Coliseum Theatre Aberystwyth, built 1904, was converted to a cinema 1932. Closed 1977, new life was breathed into the building with its restoration and opening as Ceredigion Museum in 1982.

Hillside had its first donation at the weekend ! Some very lovely 19th century including this one outside Uppingham House in on 1st January 1891. No idea who the chaps are though ! Does anyone know ?
