June 1st is Wolfman's birthday. He shares his birthday with the 58th yokozuna, Chiyonofuji Mitsugu, who he was heavily based on. In fact, Chiyonofuji's nickname "The Wolf" is what Wolfman was named after. Apparently, this was why his name was changed to Rikishiman in the anime
