Orange Armor woman is actually part Birb, btw. The Chozo are a race of advanced space birbs who rescue Samus and raise her after her colony is destroyed by space pirates and as part of the procedure to save her they infuse her with some Chozo DNA.

I love that the Robot Chozo Soldiers in Metroid Dread look so much like Prime Space Pirates, since the pirates are all about stealing technology, the most likely in-universe explanation is that it’s the Pirates trying to emulate them.

I know everyone says "the manga isn't canon" but you can see here that toddler Samus is not looking so good when the Chozo brought her there. DNA infusion could've helped her be able to withstand the gravity, BUT with those numbers, all her bones would've probably been crushed.
